The Martin 00L-16E Blue Denim brings an intimate acoustic voice to the stage

A compact Martin that stands out visually and keeps the music close. The 00L-16E Blue Denim combines a sloped-shoulder 00 body with a glossy Blue Denim spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. This gives this model from the redesigned 16 Series a truly distinctive look. The grained ivoroid pickguard provides a beautiful contrast to the blue, while the satin finish on the back, sides, and neck gives the guitar a subtle character.

The tone is warm and woody, with a clear midrange, strong high-end response, and controlled bass. This makes this acoustic guitar ideal for fingerstyle, songwriting, and rhythmic accompaniment where you want to hear each note clearly. The compact body offers an intimate playing experience, but also provides enough projection to deliver your phrasing convincingly. Scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and sustain, ensuring that soft passages retain their depth and a stronger attack has room to breathe. You don’t need to play loudly to bring out every nuance.

The select hardwood neck features a Modified Low Oval profile and a satin finish. The ebony fretboard has 20 frets, 1955 Style 18 inlays, and a width of 1 3/4 inches at the nut. The 24.9-inch scale length contributes to its approachable playability. Nickel open-gear tuners, an ebony bridge, and a TUSQ nut complete the specifications. Thanks to the L.R. Baggs Element electronics, the guitar can also be plugged in for performances or recordings. A softshell case is included for transport and storage.

If you’re looking for a Martin with a distinctive look and a voice that puts your playing center stage, let this Blue Denim try your favorite fingerstyle arrangement or latest song.
