The Markbass Little Marcus 1000 isn't just any bass amplifier. This is the head that Marcus Miller developed with Markbass and that bears his name because it does exactly what he needs: transparent, powerful, and versatile. With 1000 watts in a compact format of only 2.9 kg, the Little Marcus 1000 delivers power far exceeding its weight.
Tone shaping is at the heart of this head. EQ1 offers five bands, each with ±16 dB of control range at carefully selected frequencies: Ultralow (65 Hz), Low (180 Hz), Mid (500 Hz), High Mid (1.4 kHz), and High (3.8 kHz). EQ2 adds two characteristic Markbass filters: the Old School Low Pass for a warm, vintage undertone, and the Millerizer, a 5-12 kHz bandpass filter that controls the presence and clarity of the upper range exactly as Marcus wants it. Both EQ sections can be switched on and off via an optional footswitch.
The input sensitivity is widely adjustable from -46 dB to +23 dB, and the rear panel options such as Ground Lift and Pre/Post EQ switch make the Little Marcus 1000 equally suitable for the studio and the stage. The balanced XLR output, Speakon speaker connection, effects loop, and tuner output complete an amplifier that can perform at any level.
