The 12-inch ceramic speaker developed by Thomas Eich provides deep bass and a dynamic response. In addition, the 4-inch CT1 cone driver complements the soundscape with clear, nuanced high tones. You decide how much treble you want to hear with the three-way switch: off, medium, or high. This allows you to choose a rounder character for warm basslines, or more clarity when you want to bring your attack and articulation clearly to the forefront. The specified frequency range goes from 40 to 19,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 99 dB.
This 8-ohm version has a power handling of 400 watts RMS and two parallel-connected Eich Speaker Connectors. The cabinet measures 44 x 45 x 35 cm and features classic grill cloth, non-slip rubber feet, and Ampfixing. With the steel support pins, you can place the cabinet at an angle of 45° or 8°. Especially when you are standing close to your speaker cabinet, this allows you to direct the sound more towards your ears. This makes the 112XS not only convenient as a compact bass cabinet, but also flexibly usable for personal monitoring.
