The Epiphone Newport Bass Pacific Blue combines retro style and modern playability in the lineup's most striking color

The Newport Bass is an instrument that speaks its own language. Its retro-inspired design, rounded contours, and Pacific Blue finish pay homage to the early 1960s, when color and personality were inextricably linked to guitar design. Epiphone has brought that heritage back in a modern bass that sounds as good as it looks.

The mahogany body and neck give the Newport a warm, full tone with natural sustain that makes the low notes sing. The Bass Sidewinder humbucker in the neck delivers a round, full tone, while the TB PRO bridge pickup provides punch and presence. The blend control allows you to combine both pickups to your taste and tailor your tone to any musical style, from soul and funk to rock and pop.

The mahogany neck with a Medium C-profile and maple fretboard with 20 frets on a 34" scale offers comfortable playability across the bass's entire range. The Historic Bass Tune-O-Matic bridge guarantees stable intonation and tight string action. Die-cast tuners keep the Newport firmly in tune.

The Newport Bass Pacific Blue is for the bassist who doesn't want to choose between a great-sounding bass and an instrument with personality.
