The Epiphone Non-Reverse Thunderbird-IV Black directly from the collection of Gorefest and Monomyth bassist Boudewijn Bonebakker
The Non-Reverse Thunderbird is the lesser-known brother of the classic Reverse version, but for lovers of the original Gibson design, it is precisely the more interesting choice. Where the regular Thunderbird carries its asymmetrical body in one direction, the Non-Reverse version reverses that geometry, giving the instrument a different balance point and its own visual identity. In Black, the Non-Reverse Thunderbird-IV is an instrument that immediately makes an impact on any stage.
This particular model belonged to Boudewijn Bonebakker, the bassist behind the legendary Dutch metal band Gorefest and the more recent Monomyth. It is an instrument that has been played, and that is exactly what a good bass deserves.
This instrument is in good condition. There are light scratches and usual play wear visible, as expected from an instrument that has actually been played. There is no structural damage, and all parts are completely original. Before shipping or collection, the instrument will be checked and, if necessary, set up by our technician.
The Non-Reverse Thunderbird-IV Black is for the bassist who wants an instrument with a story and a sound that both fit.
