The Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass puts the seventies within reach

The Squier FSR Classic Vibe ’70s Jazz Bass in Aztec Gold brings the look of the seventies to a bass you'll love to keep picking up. The familiar Jazz Bass shape and glossy finish give it immediate character, while the slim C-shaped neck feels comfortable in your hand. Whether you are learning your first bass lines or looking for a trusted J Bass sound for rehearsals, this Squier invites you to keep playing.

The sound comes from two Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups. With a separate volume control for the neck and bridge pickups, you can choose the balance between both sounds yourself; the master tone then gives you a simple way to dampen the treble. This makes it fun to switch from a round, full bass line to a more direct sound that remains clearly audible in a band. There is no pickup switch: you blend the pickups with the two volume knobs.

The body is made of poplar with a glossy polyurethane finish. The neck has a comfortable C-shape, a vintage-tinted gloss finish, and a fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius and narrow-tall frets. A vintage-style bridge with slotted barrel saddles, nickel-plated hardware, and seventies-style headstock markings complete the picture. A hard case or gig bag is not included. Pick up this Classic Vibe and discover how much playing pleasure there is in that classic Jazz Bass setup.
