The Ebony finish underlines the idiosyncratic character of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom combines the recognizable Les Paul shape with a distinctive Ebony look. The mahogany solidbody is finished with a gloss lacquer and multi-ply custom binding, while the gold hardware gives the design a classic, luxurious touch. Thanks to the glued-in mahogany neck, the construction feels solid and familiar, ready for long rehearsals and evenings on stage.
The two Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers give you a versatile foundation: the ProBucker 2 at the neck for a warm, full response and the ProBucker 3 at the bridge for more emphasis and definition. With two volume controls, two tone controls, and the three-way switch, you can fine-tune the pickups to each other. The electronics feature CTS potentiometers and are hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors. A quarter-inch output jack makes connecting easy.
The 60s SlimTaper neck has a scale length of 24.75 inches and a 43 mm wide Graph Tech NuBone nut. The ebony fretboard has a 12-inch radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid block inlays. This combination gives you clear orientation along the neck and a familiar playing feel for chords, bends, and lead parts.
An Epiphone LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and LockTone stopbar keep the string anchoring classic, with 18:1 ratio Grover Rotomatic tuners. Gold-colored pickup covers, strap buttons, switch ring, and tuners contrast with the black speed knobs and white switch tip. The 60s Kalamazoo headstock features the split-diamond inlay and five-ply binding. A hard Les Paul case or EpiLite case is optional and not included as standard. The string gauge ranges from .010 to .046. Model number: EILCEBGH1.
