Patrick James Eggle Macon Single Cut Semi-Hollow Quilted Sapele

Patrick James Eggle has been one of our favorite guitar builders for years. This Macon Single Cut Semi Hollow is a great example of that! Both the body and the top of this Macon are made of Master Grade Quilted Sapele. This type of wood not only looks very elegant; it also makes the guitar incredibly resonant, with a full, warm sound full of sustain and character. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar an extra dimension, with a softer attack. The Roasted Maple neck with ebony fretboard is extremely stable and has the characteristic, comfortable Eggle feel. A pair of Mojo PAF pickups complete the whole in style. These pickups behave like real old school PAFs, with an open, clear sound with just the right amount of compression.
