The sound of the '57 Custom Deluxe is unmistakably Fender: crystal clear and open in the clean zone, with a rich, harmonic breakup as soon as you turn up the volume knob. The dynamic response is exceptional — the amplifier reacts instantly to your touch and to your guitar's volume knob. The natural reverb of the open-back cabinet gives the sound a breathing, three-dimensional quality that no digital emulation can match.

Under the hood, a classic tube configuration with a 6V6 power amp section delivers approximately 12 watts of power — enough for the studio and small venues, and precisely at the point where tubes sound their best. The preamp uses 12AX7 tubes for a warm, layered preamp sound. The amplifier is equipped with a 12-inch Jensen P12Q speaker, which completes the vintage tone with its open, papery response. The controls are deliberately kept simple: volume, tone, and tremolo — everything you need, nothing that distracts.
