Where Czech craftsmanship and master grade rosewood come together in a compact OOM
Furch is known for its exceptional quality control, but the Vintage 3 series takes it to another level. Each guitar in this line is built from master grade tonewoods, so carefully selected that they can be cut thinner than standard tonewoods. The result is an instrument that breathes, resonates, and responds in a way rarely found in guitars in this price range.
The OOM-SR has a compact body that might mislead you. Because the sound is anything but small. The master grade Solid Sitka Spruce top provides a crystal-clear, articulate tone with remarkably broad dynamics. The Indian Rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth without stifling clarity. Light strumming already produces a rich, full sound; playing harder reveals a complexity you'll want to explore again and again.
The African Mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard and Furch's distinctive Soft-V profile plays wonderfully, even after hours of playing. The 650 mm scale length, 20 frets, and diamond inlays make this an instrument that will appeal to both fingerpickers and flatpickers. The Ebony bridge with matching bridge pins and a fully compensated TUSQ saddle ensure excellent intonation. Delivered including a sturdy Hiscox hardshell case.
The Furch Vintage 3 OOM-SR is a guitar you won't soon forget once you've played it.
