The Orange Rockerverb 50H MKIII brings its tube character to life, even at lower volumes

A full Orange sound with room for subtle nuances and heavy overdrive: the Orange Rockerverb 50H MKIII is a 50-watt tube head for guitarists who want to truly play their amplifier. Two independent channels and an integrated attenuator make this head highly versatile, from working out parts in the studio to performing with your band. Its character remains distinct, while you have plenty of options to fine-tune gain, tone, and volume to your own playing style.

The clean channel offers a bright, full starting point for chords and dynamic playing. On the dirty channel, the sound shifts from a solid crunch to saturated high-gain, with the warm, powerful tone that gives the Rockerverb its identity. This makes this guitar amplifier interesting for both sweeping rock chords and driving lead parts. The tube-driven reverb adds depth, while the attenuator helps control the output volume when you drive the power stage harder. This allows you to explore the interaction between attack, gain, and volume more precisely.

The power stage uses two EL34 tubes; additionally, there are four ECC83/12AX7 and two ECC81/12AT7 tubes. With the power switch, you can choose between 50 and 25 watts. The clean channel has volume, bass, and treble controls, while the dirty channel offers gain and a three-band EQ. Reverb and attenuator have their own controls. You can incorporate external effects into your signal chain via the effects loop. Speaker outputs and footswitch connections complete the connectivity options. As an amplifier head, you pair this Orange with a suitable speaker cabinet.

Are you looking for a tube amplifier that plays convincingly clean, but also has plenty of gain in reserve? Discover how the Rockerverb 50H MKIII responds to your guitar and touch.
