DGT Faded Blue Jean with Moon Inlays: the most personal version of Grissom's signature guitar
Faded Blue Jean is not a screaming color. It whispers something about character, wear, and authenticity, perfectly matching the philosophy behind the DGT. David Grissom designed this guitar as his ideal working instrument: no compromises, no unnecessary frills. Combined with the Moon Inlays instead of the standard Birds, this particular model gains its own identity that sets it apart from any other DGT in the range.
The two DGT humbuckers are voiced for an open, dynamic tone with rich midrange and clear highs. They respond directly to your touch and adapt to any genre, from clean blues to driving rock. Via the push/pull volume knob, you activate coil-splitting, which gives the guitar a completely different character: bright, transparent, and hum-free. Two volume knobs and a 3-way toggle provide complete pickup control.
The DGT neck profile was designed by Grissom himself: slightly fuller than a Pattern Thin, with a playing feel that immediately feels familiar. The rosewood fretboard with Moon Inlays, 22 frets, 10" radius, and 25" scale length is particularly fast and smooth. The PRS Patented Tremolo and Phase III Locking Tuners ensure tuning stability even with extensive use. Mahogany body and neck with maple top: the timeless PRS combination for warmth, balance, and sustain.
The PRS DGT Moons Faded Blue Jean comes with a hardcase. For the guitarist who wants to make their own statement on one of the best signature guitars in the world.
