The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble embodies everything you'd expect from a true golden-era Les Paul—and adds just that little bit of extra vintage flair. This limited edition offers the same trusted specs as the regular Les Paul Standard 60s, but with unique aesthetic upgrades that make it irresistible to fans of classic Gibson DNA.

What makes this Double Trouble special? Two things. The pickups are Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T humbuckers, but uncoated , giving the look as raw as the tone. The Double Classic White bobbins are particularly striking—a subtle detail that enthusiasts will instantly recognize. Then there's the exclusive Vintage Cherry Sunburst finish. This finish is a subtly distressed take on the classic nitrocellulose lacquer, with a softly aged sheen reminiscent of a Les Paul steeped in decades of music history. Each Burst is spray-painted by hand, so no two guitars are exactly alike.

Under the hood, you'll find everything that makes a Les Paul Standard 60s such a beloved classic: a solid mahogany body with no weight savings, a flamed AA maple top, and a mahogany neck with the fast SlimTaper™ profile . The rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium-jumbo frets and authentic trapezoid inlays.

The hardware is also completely by the book: an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminium stopbar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with kidney buttons, and the recognisable gold Top Hat buttons with silver reflectors.

The pickups are handwound at the Gibson Pickup Shop , featuring Alnico 5 magnets , Orange Drop® capacitors , and audio taper potentiometers – so as well as the looks, the tone is spot on too.
