The Ebony finish in nitrocellulose lacquer is the most direct color choice Gibson offers for this model, and stands in strong contrast to the wood textures and cream details of the instrument.

The Sitka Spruce top on solid mahogany back and sides delivers the characteristic J-45 sound: warm, full, and direct, with a dynamic range that convincingly renders everything from subtle fingerpicking to powerful strumming.
