The best way to capture the sound of an acoustic guitar is still with a good microphone. With the Lyric, LR Baggs has developed a microphone system that delivers exactly that sound. Due to the techniques used, LR Baggs has managed to make the Lyric in such a way that it is much less sensitive to feedback. The Lyric also eliminates the "dozy" sound you can get when you amplify a guitar from the inside out. The Lyric is glued under the bridge inside the guitar. This is the optimal place to pick up the sound waves.
