The well-known Orange AD30HTC, an ode to classic rock amps from the 60s/70s!

The Orange AD30HTC Head guitar amplifier is one of the most distinctive amplifiers in the Orange line-up and is known for its pronounced vintage British sound. This all-tube amplifier delivers 30 watts of pure Class A power, combining classic warmth with a raw edge that shines in both studio and live settings.

What makes the AD30HTC special is its dual-channel design with completely separate signal paths. In fact, you get two different vintage amplifiers in one housing. The first channel offers a thick, creamy clean that transitions into an organic crunch at higher gain, while the second channel adds more mid-focus, gain, and attack for a lively and dynamic overdriven sound.

Thanks to the Class A configuration, EL84 power tubes, and tube rectifier, the amplifier is extremely sensitive to your touch. This provides natural compression and a playful feel where your tone truly "moves" with your playing, from subtle cleans to rich overdrive, simply via your volume knob and dynamics.

The AD30 series also has a strong link to rock history. For example, Jimmy Page chose to use AD30 amplifiers during his tour with The Black Crowes, which only further strengthened the reputation of this series as a serious rock machine.

The Orange AD30HTC is therefore not a jack-of-all-trades full of modern features, but rather a pure tone machine. An amplifier for guitarists looking for character, responsiveness, and that typical British crunch – honest, direct, and without compromise.
