The Revv Tilt Overdrive makes Shawn Tubbs' dynamic drive and boost work together
An overdrive that goes from subtle coloration to a solid push without losing sight of your picking dynamics: the Revv Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive was developed with the Nashville session guitarist himself. One analog pedal houses both an overdrive and a separate boost. You can use them independently or stack them for more saturation, exactly what you need when a part needs to cut through the mix.
The overdrive uses LED clipping for an open response with the feel of a hard-working tube amp. The active Treble and Bass controls help you tune the character to your guitar and amp; the Bass control is focused on the punch of the low-mids. With the boost, you can add up to 12 dB of extra level to your signal. The Tilt EQ shifts the balance between warmth and brightness with a single knob, while the three-way Tight switch tames excess low end. This makes the pedal interesting for both a lightly overdriven base sound and a tighter solo on top of your existing tone.
The drive side features Gain, Volume, Treble, and Bass; for the boost, there are Boost Level, Tilt EQ, and the Tight switch. The two circuits can be engaged separately, and the pedal features true bypass with silent relay switching. Connection is via two 6.35 mm jacks. Power is provided by an external 9-12V DC adapter with a negative center and at least 35 mA. The compact size of approximately 5.1 × 10.8 × 11.1 cm fits on a pro-built pedalboard. Hear for yourself how the Tilt Overdrive reacts to your touch.
