The Walrus Audio Canvas Tuner is built for guitarists who take their tuner seriously. Its crystal-clear full-color LCD screen is always perfectly readable, even on a dark stage, and features a screensaver function that even allows you to upload your own photos. The display can be rotated into four orientations, allowing for mounting sideways or upside down on a cramped pedalboard. With an accuracy of ±0.1 cents and a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the Canvas Tuner is one of the most precise tuners in its class.

A particularly practical detail is the choice between true bypass and buffered bypass. As a tuner is often the first pedal in the signal chain, this is crucial: true bypass for guitarists with fussy fuzzes or vintage overdrives, buffered bypass for long cable runs or complex rigs. The Canvas Tuner has an input impedance of ~1M Ohm and an output impedance of ~400 Ohm, ensuring a transparent signal path in both bypass modes.
